About Alan
Alan grew up with his father Tom, mother Ann, and older brother Bennett (along with a houseful of wildlife) in North Carolina. After graduating from North Carolina State University, he moved to Japan for a year to study the language (and meet Yuka). In 2009 he moved to Seattle to work at Nintendo.
About Yuka
Yuka grew up with her father Atsushi, mother Mitsuko, and older brother Takashi in Nagano, Japan. She then moved to Kanagawa to attend Waseda University in Tokyo. After graduating in 2010, she moved to Seattle to attend graduate school at the University of Washington.
Welcome to Seattle
Most of you will be traveling to Seattle for the wedding, so we'd like to provide a little information on the city and what you might want to do there. This is a great chance to get to know the city that we love.

The ceremony will be held at Parsons Garden in Queen Anne, Seattle. The garden is very special to us since we used to walk here often when Yuka lived in Queen Anne, and it's also where Alan proposed.

The reception will be held at the residential club in the Hyatt at Olive 8. The space is on the 18th floor and has an outdoor terrace, a dog run area, a billiards and game room, and an entertainment room.
